Dhaka National Medical College is a private medical college in Dhaka. It was acquired in 1925 from its forerunner- The Dhaka National Medical Institute.
In the first academic session of 1994, the college enrolled 63 medical students while in the 25th batch in 2018-19, 130 students were admitted. The college offers a 5 year course approved by BM and DC. Students have to do a mandatory internship upon the clearance of the final examination.
Dhaka National Medical College offers safe and comfortable accommodation to all its enrolled students with the basic amenities. Separate floors are also appointed for international female students. There is also a college library that hosts a variety of services and has comprehensive collections. There are more than 6000 text and reference books with latest edition and various local and international journals.
