Shahabuddin Medical College is a well-known medical college in Bangladesh offering MBBS degree to international students. It is located at Gulshan, Dhaka.

ABOUT UNIVERSITY

The college is affiliated to University of Dhaka. Established in 2003, it is one of the best private medical colleges of Bangladesh.

Shahabuddin Medical College began admitting students in 2003. Academic classes started on 18 April which is celebrated as “SMC DAY”. The 1st year batch was named SM-01.

The college has well-built buildings in its own land of 12 storey buildings. The government gives admission to 100 students per year for every session for the MBBS course. At present, international students study in this college from different countries like Nepal and India.

STUDENT LIFE


The students at Shahabuddin Medical College enjoy a comfortable and academic environment. There is a separate hostel for girls and boys and the rooms are offered on twin sharing basis. The rooms are fully furnished and Indian food is easily available in the hostel mess. The hostel campus is fully secured and is under CCTV surveillance. The college has a huge library for the students containing references,various textbooks and national and international journals.
