ABOUT UNIVERSITY

Also known as RU, the University of Rajshahi is set in a 305 hectare land. It is the second oldest university in Bangladesh. The University is affiliated to the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh.

The University’s main campus is in Motihar. The campus houses eleven academic buildings – five for arts, business studies and social sciences, while four for the sciences and two for agricultural studies. Within the area of almost 305 hectares, the university is home to many artistic landmarks.

STUDENT LIFE


Rajshahi University provides 18 residential halls for students. (6 for women and 11 for men, 1 international dormitory) The housing system can accommodate over 10000 students and is equipped with modern amenities to provide maximum comfort to the students. Further, the residential hall provides meals that are subsidized by authorities at the university.
