Z.H. Sikder Women’s Medical College is one of the most renowned medical colleges exclusively for womens’ who are planning to study MBBS in Bangladesh.

ABOUT UNIVERSITY

The college was founded in 1992. It is situated in the capital city of Dhaka. The college offers a 5-year MBBS degree course taught in English as the medium of instruction.

The full form of Z.H. Sikder Women’s Medical College and Hospital is Zainul Hague Sikder Women’s Medical College and Hospital. The college is affiliated with the University of Dhaka.

The college is recognized by various medical council bodies including MCI, Dhaka University, Medical & Dental Council of Bangladesh. 50% of students studying at the college are international students. The college provides a friendly and healthy environment for the students.

STUDENT LIFE


Students are provided with comfortable accommodation. The rooms are provided on a twin sharing basis. Hostel rooms are fully furnished and well equipped with modern facilities such as laundry services, central cooling and heating system, Indian food at the mess. The college also organizes different social and cultural events, seminars, debates and other similar programs on a regular basis for the students. The academy further provides sports facilities and organizes sports tournaments thus encouraging students to take part in those events.
