Eligibility for the MBBS Program at Cairo University
- An accredited MBBS/MD program is available at Cairo University.
- Students must receive their SSC and HSC, or 10+2, from an accredited state board.
- For the HSC, students should complete science courses like biology, physics, and chemistry.
- By December 31st of the admission year, at the latest, the applicant must have reached the age of 17.
- A recognized examination board must have awarded the candidate a minimum of 75% on their HSC boards.
- The candidate needs to pass the NEET test.
Cairo University Admissions Procedure
- Step 1: Complete the online application form that the university provides. Complete the course registration form. A scanned copy of the higher secondary graduation diploma (12th grade) A scanned copy of the secondary school graduation certificate (10th grade). NEET rating card. A scan of your current passport.
- Step 2: Print the application. Sign the document and email it to the institution with a scanned copy of the necessary paperwork.
- Step 3: Email the scanned copies of the paperwork with the title “Application for Admission” to indicate your intention.
- Step 4: Only submissions made prior to the application deadline will be considered. It is imperative that all documentation be provided prior to the deadline.
- Step 5: After the university has verified the documents, the student will receive an acceptance or rejection letter.
- Step 6: The candidate must pay the initial fees after acceptance. The fee acknowledgement letter will then be sent to them.
- Step 7: If accepted, the applicant must immediately apply for an Egypt student visa. The university will mail letters of invitation to students.
