The Medical Branch of Islamic Azad University, Tehran, was founded on June 17, 1985. The university’s funding comes from student necrology fees; it is a non-governmental organization (NGO) and non-profit association for the general public. Dr. Seyed Hossein Yahyavi oversaw the university’s initial conditioning and the commissioning of four educational settings for professional doctorates in medicine, nursing, midwifery, and laboratory lore in bachelorette positions. Today, the university boasts over 6,000 scholars, three blessing academies, and 17 branches offering professional doctorates, master’s degrees, bachelorettes of wisdom, discontinued bachelorettes, and associate degrees.
Since Dr. Ahmad Firouzan took over as chairman in March 2007, the university has proceeded to draw in new academic members, launch the Educational Development Center (EDC), construct and launch new departments, outfit hospitals, and The establishment of investigation centers, the construction of ultramodern subspecialty hospitals with 240 beds on the current land sanitarium, and the follow-up artistic difficulties are among the several subjects that were formerly significant in the Tehran Medical Branch.
In 2017, the university’s governing commission agreed to combine the medical, dental, and pharmaceutical departments, forming one of Islamic Azad University’s largest branches of medical and clinical knowledge. Following the merger, Islamic Azad University of Medical Lores is now the name under which Dentistry, Pharmaceuticals, and Medical Lores work together.
